Minimbah State School

Minimbah State School is an Independent Public School (IPS) and was established in 1997. Minimbah State School is part of the vibrant community of Morayfield. Located on the corner of Walkers Road and Minimbah Drive, Morayfield, Minimbah has a current enrolment of over 820 students. Our school name "Minimbah" means "place of learning" in the local Gubbi Gubbi language.

Minimbah State School has a proud tradition built on the values of Respect, Integrity and Responsibility. We take pride in our appearance (both in ourselves and our grounds) and we have outstanding academic, cultural and sporting success. Minimbah State School provides quality learning for students from Prep to year 6.

Our excellence in education has been recognised with numerous awards and as the lead governance school for the Morayfield Teacher Education Centre of Excellence (MTECE), we are helping to prepare the next generation of outstanding teachers. The other governance schools are; Jinibara SS, Morayfield SS, Morayfield East  SS and one high school.

We also have strong links to any local high schools, for example Tullawong State High School and Minimbah share both a Dance and a Drama teacher. This has led to Minimbah's introduction of Drama Excellence and Dance Excellence for our Yr 5 and 6 students. Also giving our students the opportunity to perform, on stage with Tullawong SHS students.

We welcome you to our school website and encourage you to browse through our pages.
