Minimbah State School is an Independent Public School (IPS) and was established in 1997. Minimbah State School is part of the vibrant community of Morayfield. Located on the corner of Walkers Road and Minimbah Drive, Morayfield, Minimbah has a current enrolment of over 800 students. Minimbah is an Aboriginal word meaning "place of learning". Our school name "Minimbah" means "place of learning" in the local Gubbi Gubbi language.

We take pride in our appearance (both in ourselves and our grounds) and we have outstanding academic, cultural and sporting success. Minimbah State School provides quality learning for students from Prep to year 6.
Our excellence in education has been recognised with numerous awards and as the lead governance school for the Morayfield Teacher Education Centre of Excellence (MTECE), we are helping to prepare the next generation of outstanding teachers. The other governance schools are; Jinibara SS, Morayfield SS, Morayfield East SS and Morayfield SHS.
