Welcome to our Minimbah State School community.

Minimbah State School was established in 1997 and is part of a vibrant community in Morayfield near Caboolture with an enrolment of approximately 700 students, providing quality learning for students from Prep to Year 6.

As an inclusive learning community, Minimbah State School offers an educational program founded on the belief that all children can learn and have the right to learn. Our goal is for all students to experience success through their learning at school. Our caring and dedicated staff at Minimbah are committed to providing every opportunity for all students.  We work in partnership with families to provide your children with the highest quality education, aligned to the Australian Curriculum, in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

At Minimbah State School, our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Kindness guide our students' behaviour and are at the heart of everything we do. These values guide our actions, shape our culture, and help us create a safe and positive learning environment where every child can thrive. We practice these values in our classrooms, playground and in the community. Student wellbeing and engagement at Minimbah is a high priority for all staff. Through additional supports from our Well Being Hub, Inclusion Team and Reboot Program, we strive to ensure all students and staff are supported to engage in teaching and learning. Our Boomie Program is a highly engaging incentive for our students, encouraging them to demonstrate our school values through positive behaviour and effort in their learning at school.  Our end of term Reward Days are a highlight for many students, acknowledging their hard work and school spirit.

We value the positive and productive relationship between the school, parents and local community at Minimbah and believe that these relationships are central in enabling children to achieve to their potential. We encourage parent involvement across many aspects of school life at Minimbah. There are opportunities for parents to assist directly in class activities, provide input into school decision-making and become involved with the Parents and Citizens Association.

At Minimbah State School, we believe there is so much more to education than classroom learning, and children are encouraged to become involved in the range of extra curricula activity, in particular, sport, STEM and The Arts which have a special place in our school. Our Junior and Senior Robotics Clubs successfully compete in each year. Many students are actively engaged in the Rugby League development program, GALA Days and the year level sport programs. We also have an established Instrumental Music and Arts program where students showcase their creative talents.

Technology plays such an important role in the lives of today's children and Minimbah State School has a comprehensive IT infrastructure and employs innovative ways to ensure our students are equipped with the skills to navigate the digital world successfully. We have a school-based iPad program across Prep to Year 6, offering 1:1 device access for our senior school students, alongside a computer lab and laptops available to all year levels.

I am sure our school will provide your child with a learning environment in which their individual potential can be fully nurtured and develop strong basic skills, as a firm foundation for future learning.  On behalf of the entire community, welcome to Minimbah – your child's Place of Learning. We look forward to a positive and successful partnership with your family.

Yours in Education,
