Welcome to our Minimbah State School community.

On behalf of our entire community, welcome to Minimbah State School – A Place of Learning. We are proud to partner with families to provide a supportive, high-expectation environment where every child is known, valued and empowered to succeed.

Established in 1997, Minimbah State School is proud to be part of the vibrant Morayfield community near Caboolture. With an enrolment of approximately 660 students from Prep to Year 6, we are committed to delivering high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment.

At Minimbah, we are building a strong and positive school culture grounded in high expectations for every student. In alignment with the Queensland Department of Education's, Brighter Futures strategy, we believe that every child can succeed when provided with the right support, opportunities and challenge. We are committed to ensuring every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their personal best.

As an inclusive learning community, we provide a rich and engaging educational program aligned to the Australian Curriculum. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to deliver explicit, high-quality teaching that supports all learners to grow academically, socially and emotionally. We value our partnership with families and recognise that strong home–school connections are essential in achieving the best outcomes for our students.

Our core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Kindness are at the heart of everything we do. These values shape our culture and guide behaviour across classrooms, playgrounds and the wider community. We are proud of the safe, supportive and orderly environment we have created, where students feel a strong sense of belonging and are empowered to succeed.

Student wellbeing and engagement are key priorities at Minimbah. Through our Wellbeing Hub, Inclusion Team and Reboot Program, we provide targeted supports to ensure all students are able to fully engage in learning. Our highly engaging Boomie Program promotes positive behaviour and celebrates effort, while our end-of-term Reward Days recognise and reinforce student achievement and school pride.

We place great importance on the strong partnerships we share with our parents and local community. These relationships are vital in supporting students to achieve their potential. We encourage families to be actively involved in school life through classroom support, decision-making processes and participation in the Parents and Citizens Association.

At Minimbah State School, we believe in educating the whole child. Alongside strong academic foundations, students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, particularly in sport, STEM and The Arts. Technology is an integral part of contemporary learning, and we are committed to equipping our students with the skills they need for the future. Our Robotics Clubs achieve strong results in competitions, while our Rugby League program, GALA Days and year-level sport programs promote teamwork and healthy lifestyles. Our Instrumental Music and Arts programs provide valuable opportunities for students to express creativity and showcase their talents.

At Minimbah State School, we are proud to foster a culture of high expectations, strong relationships and continuous improvement. We are confident that our school will provide your child with a supportive and challenging learning environment where they can thrive, develop strong foundational skills and build a bright future.

Yours in Education,
