Learning potentials program
Our learning potentials program provides opportunities for intervention and extension strategies for students to assist them meet their potential for success. Classroom teachers use a range of information available about all students, including prior knowledge and experiences, learning styles, abilities and interests to differentiate learning in classrooms.
Students who are identified as needing support or extension with learning are catered for through a variety of intervention programs.
The new playground constructed near the Arts block is the result of a successful P&C grant application to the gaming machine fund. The playground is for year 4 – 7 students.
To ensure that there are not too many students using the equipment at one time we will trial a roster system for its use. Please remind students each day of the roster below:
- Year 4: Monday lunch 1, Wednesday lunch 1, Friday lunch 1
- Year 5: Monday lunch 2, Wednesday lunch 2, Friday lunch 2
- Year 6: Tuesday lunch 1, Thursday lunch 1
- Year 7: Tuesday lunch 2, Thursday lunch 2
